Teaching the Bible as One Grand Story
Every speaker has their own style.
I want the story of Scripture to come alive for people so that they leave more in awe of God's Word and more in love with Jesus. Whether I'm preaching a single message or leading a weekend retreat, I combine careful biblical study with warmth, clarity, and practical application, so listeners walk away with a deeper understanding of Scripture and the insight to live it out.
Scripture at the Center
I don’t believe the Bible was meant to be read as a collection of disconnected stories or isolated verses. It's one grand, unfolding story that reveals who God is, leads us to Jesus, and invites us to discover where our own lives fit within His story. That's the story I love to teach.
While I'll occasionally share personal experiences or stories from ministry, they're never the centerpiece. My desire isn't simply to give practical encouragement or inspirational talks. I want to help people encounter God through Scripture and leave talking less about the speaker and more about the God they met in His Word.
What Makes My Teaching Distinctive
Scripture is always the foundation.
I teach with depth while remaining accessible.
I love tracing biblical themes across the whole story of Scripture.
I care deeply about sound theology and faithful interpretation.
I want people to see not only what the Bible says, but how every part fits together.
My teaching is pastoral, thoughtful, and invitational rather than purely academic.
I value wonder as much as information.
I want listeners to leave loving God more, not simply knowing more.
Humor is my love language.
